Since 1996, programs at Botany Glen have fostered leadership development and team building experiences for thousands of participants. Located 2 miles West of Interstate 69 and 1 mile south of Gas City; Botany Glen offers a captivating setting tucked away on the south bank of the Mississinewa River. In this engaging outdoor environment, including a fifteen and thirty foot high ropes course, and several low ropes initiatives on 40 acres, teams examine new approaches to leadership, team development, problem solving, decision making, and strategic change. Key Outcomes: The experience is designed to give participants renewed confidence, a sense of teamwork, unity within their group, and enhanced communication skills. In this environment, participants should: • Value, respect, and appreciate individual differences • Intentional trust development • Awareness of team dynamics and group process • Active involvement in conflict resolution
Participants are encouraged to take reasonable risks which are essential components in the development of appropriate self-esteem. Botany Glen is designed to be physically challenging, but not physically impossible. Participants are active members of the team building experience through our philosophy of “Challenge by Choice”.
